2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 Launched in India: Will It Come to Bangladesh?
4 July 2025 · 6 min read
Bajaj Auto has launched the 2025 Dominar 250 in India with a new LCD console, switchable traction control, four ABS modes, and a modest price hike. For Bangladeshi riders waiting for a premium 250cc cruiser, this update brings the Dominar closer to reality.
What is new on the 2025 Dominar 250
The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 carries the same 248.77cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 27 PS at 8,500 rpm and 23.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. What changes is the equipment list: a new LCD console inspired by the Pulsar NS200, with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alerts. More importantly, Bajaj has added switchable traction control and four ABS modes (Road, Rain, Sport, Off-road), making it the most technologically advanced Dominar yet.
The design stays unchanged in the same three colours: Canyon Red, Sparkling Black, and Citrus Rush. The chassis, suspension, and brakes remain identical — 37mm inverted forks, preload-adjustable rear monoshock, 300mm front disc, and 230mm rear disc.
Price and Bangladesh relevance
In India, the 2025 Dominar 250 is priced at Rs 1,91,654 (ex-showroom Delhi), a hike of roughly Rs 5,158. In Bangladesh, the Dominar 250 has not yet been officially launched, but the Pulsar N250 and F250 are already on sale. Given the pricing gap between the N250 (Tk 330,100) and imported 250cc options, a Dominar 250 at around Tk 350,000–375,000 would fill a genuine gap in the market: a performance cruiser with touring ergonomics, dual-channel ABS, and premium features.
Uttara Motors has not confirmed a Bangladesh launch date, but the Dominar platform is well-established in India and Nepal, and demand among Bangladeshi touring enthusiasts is strong.
Should you wait for it?
If you are shopping for a 250cc motorcycle in Bangladesh and want a cruiser rather than a naked streetfighter, the Dominar 250 is worth waiting for. It offers a six-speed gearbox, liquid cooling, LED lighting, and a USB charging port — features that the Pulsar N250 does not have. For long-distance rides to Cox's Bazar or Sylhet, the Dominar's relaxed ergonomics and heavier chassis would be more comfortable than the aggressive N250.
However, if you need a bike immediately, the Bajaj Pulsar N250 or Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 are already available and proven in Bangladesh.
